Seasonal Concerts?

Hello everyone!
One of our members, zxzxrock, sent me an idea of Seasonal-Themed music for the Winter Carols group, and I thought it might be nice to expand that idea to fit all the groups!

So I would like to ask you all if you would like to have concerts within your groups?

Here's how it would work (if we decide to hold concerts)
There will be 4 concerts per year; Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter
And thus, the concert layouts would be like this:
SPRING: Spring Quintessence, Mellow Rain.
SUMMER: Summer Essence, Sunny Splash
AUTUMN: Autumn Hues, WindBlown Harvest
WINTER: Winter Carols, Icy Sparkles, Snowy Breeze
There will also be a possibility of special shuffle units between members if they would like to

The SONGS/MATERIALS for the concerts:
SPRING/SUMMER/AUTUMN: The B-Sides of each H!P CD for each group (the songs that do not have a PV with them)
WINTER: Because the other plan isn't going to work here, we MIGHT want to try picking songs by themes (happiness, winter, sad, etc) <--I have horrible themes >.<
PVs: For the SPRING/SUMMER/AUTUMN groups, we would probably use a (very decorated) version of the video style we're using for the Winter Group (<--which you will see as soon as I'm done mixing >.<)

The TIMES for the concerts: (2 choices!)
SPRING:March (During March Break?)
SUMMER:June-July
AUTUMN:August-September
WINTER: December (Christmas Holiday Week)

OR

All the 4 groups' concerts are published on New Year's Day (start of new year?). This idea is for those who do not have as much time during the school year (March to June is EXAM MONTHS!). If we use this idea we'll have everyone work on the songs THROUGHOUT the year so it won't be a huge BOMB in November to get 20-something songs ready, and we can also have smaller concert/celebration/parties for special holidays (WINTER = Christmas holiday, AUTUMN = Halloween, SPRING = Valentines Day, etc...)

Not very detailed I know, but what does everyone think?

I agree with holding concerts!! ^-^

EDIT: Okay, now that I've finished reading EVERYTHING, I like the second idea better, just because I have to start thinking about exams and everything now that I'm in junior high... >.>
Yeah, I have like a week and a half for Christmas vacation, then maybe a few days off during the months (for PD days and stuff), then spring vacation, then that week or something in April, because it's holy week...
This idea still needs a little work, but I think it should happen! So I can't really choose between to options in the poll: "Good Idea!" or "Needs some more planning, but possible". But I think I'll choose "Needs some more planning, but possible"....

I think that it's a good idea, but how about having each "season" sing a song or 2 (or 3 lol) during each concert, I think that might be better than having to learn a bunch of songs at once. That way, everyone will be involved with each concert.

I see what you mean, but I want to try sticking to a theme (and I'm WAYY too lazy to mix songs from all the seasons at the same time! 8) ). I guess we'll see how everyone thinks.

However, I'll try to even it out so the groups wont have to learn "a bunch of songs" at once. Planning for the concerts will start REALLY EARLY and all the groups will get at LEAST 5 Months to get their lines in (because for the H!P B-side songs, a LOT of people (like me) never listened to them before :D ). So if we're holding concerts it would be an extra background thing, so the groups will have their usual lines (where they get 3 weeks to work on) and the Concert lines (which is more songs but they get at LEAST 5 Months).

EDIT: if everyone chooses the second concert-timing plan (the one on New Years) then yes, we will end up with a concert where everyone takes part in :D

I think it's a good idea but I'm not really sure do concert by theme lol, since SPRING/SUMMER/AUTUMN groups are hello project group you can use the video concert of Hello project lol
And for winter make AMV

>.< The problem about using the original concert footage is that we MUST do the EXACT same thing they did in the concert, and it would usually be the same song we will sing for the PVs, and theres too much background noise, etc, etc, (and its too much work ) :P

I'm not sure of AMV's either, I'll think about it, but its pretty hard to please everyone with AMV's so something more simple would probably be best...

I guess we'll see what happens...

I'll help you with mixing getting instrumentals and all that fancy JAZZ if ya want?

And here in georgia I have two winter breaks.

YES! I think making them into albums would be the best idea EVER! We could be like..concert albums?... 8)

Lucky person! :P In Toronto (at least at my school) we only get 1 week off for christmas and then no other breaks till that one week for March Break. :|

A certain group could DUB an whole album. Like a whole concert DUb ya know? cept it's an album
